We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership in Gloucester. The successful Vehicle Technician will be instrumental in delivering high-quality servicing and repairs whilst benefiting from a supportive team environment.
- Competitive basic salary between £32,000 and £36,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
- On-target earnings exceeding £45,000 per annum through performance-related bonuses and overtime.
- £125 monthly uplift for MOT testers holding an active MOT licence.

- Conduct vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) and diagnostics using specialised tools and software.
- Support warranty repairs and work on EV (electric vehicle) repairs where qualified.
- Complete accurate digital write-ups and complete job cards efficiently.
- Perform hydraulic repairs and other technical tasks as required.
- Assist and mentor apprentice Vehicle Technicians, sharing expertise to develop team skills.
- Support less experienced colleagues in diagnosing complex issues and achieving repair targets.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout all technical activities.
- Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Motivated team player with a ‘mentor mindset’ and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a busy dealership environment.
- Experience with diagnostics, vehicle repairs, and customer service.
- An active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to professional development and quality workmanship.
