We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable main car dealership in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.   • Salary up to £42,000 per annum plus performance-based bonus

Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Service and repair customer vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Accurately complete job cards within designated time frames
  • Diagnose vehicle faults using industry-standard diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and fault finding
  • Ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with customers
  • Contribute to a positive workshop environment, supporting team objectives
Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Automotive Servicing and Repair
  • Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and minor repairs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong ability to work independently and within a team
  • Well-presented with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for delivering high standards in vehicle maintenance and customer service
