Location: Kings Langley

Allsorted is recruiting two Key Account Managers to take responsibility for a portfolio of established national and multi-site retail accounts, and to drive further significant growth developing new business.

This is a senior, office-based role, suited to an experienced account manager with a strong understanding of the card & gift or book trade or associated retail sectors, and a track record of working directly with buying teams at head‑office level.

The role sits within a developing key account team structure
, where several team members collectively support and develop individual customers. The successful candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively, taking ownership of their areas of responsibility while contributing to a joined‑up, well‑coordinated customer relationship.

You will manage key customer relationships, lead commercial discussions, and develop well‑considered ranges across gift books and children’s books. The role requires a balance of commercial instinct, range sense, stick‑to‑it‑ness, and disciplined follow‑through.

Experience supplying department store groups
, garden centre groups
, visitor attraction retailers
, challenging national accounts
, and online retailers will be particularly relevant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing national key accounts as part of a wider account team
  • Leading negotiations on ranges, pricing, and promotions
  • Identifying and delivering growth opportunities
  • Preparing and presenting clear, data‑led proposals
  • Working closely with internal colleagues to ensure consistent excellence in execution & service.

  • Commercially astute, organised, and credible with buyers
  • Comfortable working in a team‑based account structure
  • Confident using Excel and Power Point
  • Reliable, detail‑focused, and comfortable working at pace
