Service Desk Supervisor - Building Services & Maintenance

Ongoing Temporary Role - Minimum 2 Months

Location:

Hemel Hempstead / Central London

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: £15.50 - £17.30 per hour

Contract:

Ongoing temporary assignment (minimum 2 months)

A leading building services and maintenance provider is seeking an experienced Service Desk Supervisor to support the business on an ongoing temporary basis due to long-term sickness cover within the team.

This is a hands‑on supervisory role managing the daily operations of a busy service desk supporting mechanical, electrical and HVAC maintenance contracts across London and the Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily service desk operations and coordinate engineer schedules
  • Manage PPMs, reactive maintenance and subcontractor activities
  • Oversee quotations, service reports, invoicing and CAFM updates
  • Ensure all works are completed within SLA and compliance standards
  • Liaise with customers, engineers and suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support operational efficiency, team productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor RAMS, compliance documentation and maintenance renewals
  • Assist senior management with reporting and operational support
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a Service Desk Supervisor, Helpdesk Supervisor or Facilities Coordination role
  • Strong scheduling and coordination experience within FM/building services
  • Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using CAFM systems
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
