Apprentice Site Manager
At PiLON, part of the United Infrastructure group, we specialise in planned maintenance and refurbishments within the social housing sector. We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Apprentice Site Manager to support the delivery of refurbishment projects across multiple sites in London.
Location & ContractLondon – Fixed term, Full‑time. Salary:
Competitive apprenticeship package (to be discussed).
- Support the Site Manager with the day‑to‑day running of refurbishment projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site operatives.
- Assist monitoring health and safety compliance on site.
- Support site inspections and quality checks to ensure works are completed to required standards.
- Maintain site records, reports and project documentation.
- Programme and organise site activities to meet project deadlines.
- Develop positive relationships with residents, clients and colleagues.
- Ensure sites remain clean, safe and well‑organised.
- Attend apprenticeship training and complete all required coursework and assessments.
- Genuine interest in construction and site management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable with excellent time‑keeping.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
- Previous experience in construction, property maintenance, customer service or a trade environment.
- CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Knowledge of the social housing sector.
