Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Site Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable contractor specialising in high-end residential projects, who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end residential construction, combined with previous experience working as a Site Manager and genuine hands-on experience on the tools.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and experienced construction professional who understands the build process from the ground up and can confidently manage projects, trades and site teams.

The Role

* Managing high-end residential projects from pre-construction through to completion.

* Taking responsibility for project delivery, programme and quality.

* Managing Site Managers, subcontractors and trades.

* Coordinating multiple trades and construction activities on site.

* Managing project programmes and key milestones.

* Working closely with clients, architects, designers and consultants.

* Managing subcontractors and ensuring works meet required standards.

* Carrying out regular site inspections and progress meetings.

* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

* Managing health and safety requirements across projects.

* Monitoring project costs and assisting with commercial management.

* Resolving construction issues and coordinating solutions on site.

About You

* Proven experience as a Project Manager within high-end residential construction.

* Previous experience working as a Site Manager.

* Genuine hands-on experience working on the tools.

* Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing.

* Experience delivering high-quality refurbishments, extensions or new builds.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

* Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.

* Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused approach.

* Confident dealing with clients, architects and professional teams.

* Relevant construction qualifications and SMSTS are desirable.
