My client, an award
-winning national residential developer with schemes across Hertfordshire is looking to appoint an Assistant Site Managerto join the team on a 120+ unit traditional-build development in Hemel Hempstead
The scheme will deliver a mix ofprivate sale and affordable housing, and you'll be working as part of an experienced, fully structured production team.
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager with a solid residential background who is looking to develop their career, take ownership of key build stages and progress within a supportive house building environment.
Duties,- As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support in the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale traditional build scheme.
- Depending on experience will be looking after external or internal packages
- Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
- Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
- Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
- Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
- Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
- Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
- Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
- Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
- NHBC stage inspections
- Customer Care/Handovers/CMLS
- Extensive traditional build knowledge
- Worked as an Assistant Site Manager working as part of a full production team
- Experience of being part of a NHBC/LABC Award winning team would be an advantage
- Working as part of a full production team
- CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold awareness
- Salary range £42-50k per year
