This Customer Service Advisor role in Gloucester is a full‑time temporary contract lasting three months, paying £14.36 to £14.50 per hour (approximately £28,000 pro rata). Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, the position is office based within a busy customer service team supporting a well‑established business through a peak trading period. Duties include handling enquiries across multiple channels, resolving issues and maintaining professional standards so customers enjoy a positive experience.

Two advisors are being recruited, and successful candidates will receive support from Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial throughout the assignment. We are currently recruiting for 2 Customer Service Advisors to join a busy customer service team on a 3-month temporary basis. This role will play a key part in supporting the business through a peak trading period, ensuring customers receive a professional, efficient and positive experience. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, resolving issues and maintaining excellent levels of customer service while working closely with colleagues across the business.

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
• Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally
• Process customer requests and update internal systems accurately
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Escalate complex issues where required
• Ensure customers are kept informed throughout the resolution process
• Support the wider customer service team during peak trading periods
• Contribute to a positive and customer‑focused working environment

• Previous customer service experience is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident handling customer enquiries and resolving issues
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
