We are looking for two enthusiastic, hardworking individuals with high expectations of themselves and others to join our school team as SEN Teaching Assistants supporting Key Stage 2. The role is to work on a 1:1 basis with named SEN children.

The contract is fixed term, with no end date, until the children leave the school or until funding changes or ceases, whichever is sooner. The role is for 29 hours 10 minutes per week, Monday to Friday during term time only. The hours of work are 8.40 am to 3.30 pm with an hour's unpaid lunch from 12.15 to 1.15 pm. The role starts in January 2026.

We are looking for teaching assistants who:

  • have knowledge of the primary curriculum,
  • have high expectations of achievement and behaviour,
  • have good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths is desirable),
  • have experience of working with children with SEND (desirable),
  • can confidently communicate with parents, carers and class teachers; and
  • understand and embrace the school's ethos.

The approximate part‑time annual salary is £16,865 pa, which equates to £13.26 per hour.
