SEN Teaching Assistant - Hertfordshire

£100 to £125 a day – ASAP start – Temp, full‑time position with potential to become permanent by the end of the academic year.

Our small SEN school in Hertfordshire is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work with pupils who have complex needs, including those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting both one‑to‑one and group settings.

• Work individually with pupils (1‑to‑1) and as part of group activities.
• Support students with severe or complex needs to achieve their learning goals.
• Assist teachers in lesson planning, implementation, and monitoring pupil progress.
• Collaborate with the school team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

• Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a background working with pupils who have severe or complex needs.
• Capable of working effectively with pupils one‑to‑one and in group settings.

Our school caters to 125 pupils aged 3‑19 and has a Good OFSTED rating. It is located close to an overground station and easily accessed from several tube lines.
