Academics are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well‑regarded secondary school in the Hemel Hempstead area for a Teacher of Religious Education and Geography to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who can deliver both Religious Education and Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play a key role in inspiring students and driving academic achievement.

• Teach Religious Education and Geography at KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons
• Assess, monitor and track student progress
• Mark classwork and provide effective feedback
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement
• Participate fully in departmental and whole‑school activities
• Fulfil all professional responsibilities expected of a classroom teacher

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching both Religious Education and Geography
• Possesses strong classroom management skills
• Is passionate about student learning and progress
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Can contribute positively to the wider school community
