Supply Desk is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Kings Langley seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their team. The school is looking for an educator who can bring energy and creativity to the classroom, helping students develop mathematical understanding while building confidence in their own abilities.
This role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate. What You'll Be Doing- Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons that encourage curiosity and independent thinking.
- Use a variety of teaching approaches to support learners of differing abilities and learning styles.
- Track student achievement and implement strategies to maximise progress and attainment.
- Create a classroom culture where students feel motivated, supported, and confident to succeed.
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the ongoing success of the department.
- Prepare students for examinations and help them develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and participation across all lessons.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has a degree in Mathematics or a related subject area.
- Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for their subject.
- Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Has the ability to inspire students and make learning accessible and enjoyable.
- Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
