The school is looking for an educator who can bring the past to life, inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of historical events, cultures, and societies while strengthening their critical thinking and analytical skills.

This role offers the opportunity to teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, you'll be joining a school that values collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
• Use a variety of teaching approaches to support learners of differing abilities and learning styles.
• Track student achievement and implement strategies to maximise progress and attainment.
• Create a classroom culture where students feel motivated, supported, and confident to express their ideas.
• Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the ongoing success of the Humanities department.
• Prepare students for examinations and help them develop strong research, evaluation, and analytical skills.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and participation across all lessons.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has a degree in History or a related subject area.
• Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for their subject.
• Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Has the ability to inspire students and make learning accessible, relevant, and engaging.
• Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
