Salary: £85 - £110 per day

Supply Desk are recruiting a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Kings Langley. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing tailored support that enables them to engage confidently with their learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will play an important role within the school's support team, helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every student feels encouraged to succeed. Whether supporting students on a one-to-one basis, working with small intervention groups, or assisting teachers during lessons, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing.

This position would suit an experienced Learning Support Assistant, a recent graduate considering a career in education, or someone with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide classroom support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to support learning and engagement.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with additional learning needs, helping to build confidence and independence.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, wellbeing and participation in school activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, supportive and enthusiastic approach to working with students.
