Are you an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity this September? Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Kings Langley area seeking a dedicated MFL specialist to join their successful department.

The successful candidate will teach students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate. You will play a key role in helping students develop strong language skills, cultural understanding and confidence in communication through engaging and creative lessons.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this position offers a fantastic opportunity to thrive within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

• Deliver high-quality Modern Foreign Languages lessons across Key Stages 3–5, fostering a positive and engaging learning experience.
• Monitor student progress through effective assessment strategies and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement.
• Promote an appreciation of different cultures and encourage students to develop confidence in their language abilities.
• Work closely with colleagues to contribute to a vibrant and successful MFL department.
• Inspire students to become independent learners with a genuine interest in languages and global perspectives.

• A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• A passion for language education and a commitment to delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
