This is an excellent opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate. What You’ll Be Doing- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons that encourage curiosity, investigation, and critical thinking.
- Use a variety of teaching approaches to support learners of differing abilities and learning styles.
- Track student achievement and implement strategies to maximise progress and attainment.
- Create a classroom culture where students feel motivated, supported, and confident to succeed.
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the ongoing success of the Science department.
- Prepare students for examinations while developing their practical, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and participation across all lessons.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has a degree in Science or a related subject area.
- Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for their subject.
- Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Has the ability to inspire students and make learning accessible and enjoyable.
- Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
