The Role

You will inspire students through engaging, practical, and thought-provoking Science lessons, helping them develop a deeper understanding of the world around them while building confidence in scientific enquiry.

Your

Key Responsibilities

Deliver dynamic lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics that challenge and motivate students
Develop students' practical skills by planning safe and engaging laboratory activities
Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with a wide range of abilities and learning styles
Analyse assessment data to identify next steps and implement effective intervention strategies
Encourage scientific curiosity through STEM activities, enrichment opportunities, and extracurricular clubs
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and participation in lessons
Work closely with colleagues to contribute to departmental initiatives and curriculum development

About You

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching welcomed but not essential
Passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists
Confident in delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons
A collaborative practitioner with excellent communication and organisational skills
