Structural Engineer

We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer for their Hemel Hempstead office. The business delivers a broad range of residential and commercial projects across the UK and has built a strong reputation for technical quality, collaboration, and long-term client relationships.

The role would suit an engineer with experience working on residential developments, including housing schemes, extensions, and low- to mid-rise buildings, alongside strong report writing and technical assessment skills. You’ll be involved in structural design, site inspections, surveys, and producing clear technical reports for clients and project teams.

• Structural design on a range of residential projects
• Preparation of structural reports, calculations, and technical documentation
• Site visits, inspections, and structural assessments
• Working closely with architects, developers, and contractors
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction

• Experience working within a UK consultancy environment
• Residential project experience essential
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and design standards
• Proficient with structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit experience beneficial
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
