An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded Structural Engineering Director to join a growing and highly respected engineering consultancy.

This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the business. We are seeking an experienced leader who can combine exceptional technical expertise with strong commercial acumen, driving both project delivery and business growth. The successful candidate will lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams, strengthen existing client relationships, and play a key role in winning new work across a diverse portfolio, with particular emphasis on data centre and industrial developments.

As a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing the successful delivery of major projects, and ensuring the continued growth and profitability of the structural engineering division. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term partnerships while identifying opportunities to expand services and secure new commissions.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Structural Engineer with a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects and managing high-performing teams within a consultancy environment.
• Significant experience delivering data centre and industrial projects, with a strong understanding of the technical, commercial, and operational challenges associated with these sectors.
• Reputation for developing client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and successfully converting those opportunities into long-term partnerships.
