Structural Engineer

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join our client based in HERTFORDSHIRE.

You will work on high volume residential projects along with projects in other sectors to include healthare, commercial and industrial encompassing both new build and refurbishment.

• structural design and analysis of buildings and structural elements.
• prepare calculations, reports and also sketches.
• review and check drawings.
• coordinate with clients, architects and the rest of the professional team.
• look after, plan and monitor your own workload working to agreed timescales.

Our client is a successful, growing firm of consulting engineers who are working on various projects in the built environment.

They currently have three UK offices.

• BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• At least three years' experience of working in a structural engineering consultancy.
• Good working knowledge of UK design standards and also the Eurocodes.
• Working towards becoming Chartered with the ICE or IStruct

• Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Salary is negotiable from £36000 to £46000 per annum depending upon experience plus pension, healthcare cash back plan, some WFH although 3 days in the office is required, life assurance and a range of other benefits.
