BMS Commissioning Engineer

Get Fix Ltd is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our Electrical & Controls Team. You will play a key role in delivering HVAC and BMS projects, commissioning systems across a range of environments, including boiler rooms, office buildings and data centres.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and interpret BMS panel drawings and electrical schematics.

* Create, review and verify I/O schedules to ensure accurate system configuration.

* Carry out BMS control panel modifications in line with project requirements.

* Replace and upgrade BMS controllers, including associated testing and commissioning.

* Install secondary containment to support cable management and installation requirements.

* Commission BMS and control systems, carrying out testing, fault finding and optimisation, with remote technical support available where required.

What you'll have

* Electrical background, with relevant qualifications and technical training.

* Proven experience working as a Commissioning and Software Engineer within the BMS or building controls sector.

* Experience carrying out control panel modifications and upgrades.

* Proven experience completing controller upgrades, including testing and commissioning.

* Experience delivering BMS retrofit and replacement projects.

* Working knowledge of Trend, Distech and Niagara systems.

* Strong knowledge of electrical controls, BMS systems and HVAC applications.

* Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively on live client sites.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Willingness and flexibility to travel nationwide as required.
