Job Description & How to Apply Below
- High-profile events for an exceptional portfolio
- Access to senior government, diplomatic and royal stakeholders
- Lead and develop your own events team
- Excellent benefits package
- Work for an organisation with a genuine global mission The Company This is one of the most distinctive organisations in the charitable world: a global network with direct access to governments, a financial scale that puts it among the largest charities operating in the UK, and a mission that spans development, education and community across dozens of countries. The UK operation is deliberately lean, which means individuals carry real weight.
People who join tend to stay, drawn by the calibre of the work and the depth of the connections it opens.
The Role As Event Manager you will lead the events programme for a landmark London venue, overseeing delivery from concept through to completion and managing a dedicated team to do it.
- Plan, manage and deliver a varied programme of high-profile events
- Lead and develop the in-house events team
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across government and corporate sectors
- Oversee all event logistics, coordination and on-site delivery
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution
- Manage budgets and supplier relationships across the events programme The Candidate You are an experienced Event Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-profile events and managing stakeholder relationships at a senior level - ideally from within a prestigious venue. An Event Manager who is comfortable operating in a sensitive, multi-layered organisational environment and able to bring both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery to a varied programme.
Prior experience with high end events is beneficial but not essential, as is a background in the charity or non-profit sector. What matters most is the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism, discretion and calm. If that sounds like the kind of Event Manager you are, this is worth a close look. Rarely does a role bring together a team to lead, a genuinely prestigious programme and an organisation whose work carries this kind of global reach.
