Systems Analyst, IT Consultant
Are you ready to make an impact in project delivery?
You’ll join a delivery‑focused team where you’ll support successful outcomes across a range of complex programmes. One week you might be managing project controls for a Senior Project Manager, the next you could be driving governance and reporting across an entire programme. You’ll work in a structured environment, applying PMO best practice across both waterfall and agile delivery.
Flexibility will be important. You need to be prepared to travel to client sites depending on the project – typically 2–3 days a week. For this role, that means regular travel to Farnborough and Salisbury
. You’ll also need to be eligible and willing to obtain DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
- Supporting project and programme governance, ensuring robust controls and compliance.
- Maintaining accurate reporting on progress, risks and dependencies.
- Managing project documentation and supporting planning activities.
- Working closely with Project Managers and wider teams to ensure delivery excellence.
- Applying PMO frameworks and adapting to both waterfall and agile environments.
- Escalating issues early and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Experience as a PMO Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and governance.
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile delivery methods.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and support third‑party management.
- Proactive communicator who ensures transparency and timely escalation.
- Experience in Central Government, Defence or Security environments.
- Knowledge of DV clearance processes and compliance frameworks.
- A collaborative and adaptable mindset.

Salary: £32,960 to £45,000.
