IT Operations Manager

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

• We are looking for experience managing third‑party IT providers, improving service delivery, and building strong relationships across the business.
• We would value experience within a regulated or quality‑driven environment.
• You may currently be working as an IT Operations Manager, IT Service Delivery Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Technology Operations Manager, IT Manager, or Service Delivery Manager.
• You must have the full right to work in the UK.

• We own the day‑to‑day operation of IT services and infrastructure.
• We manage relationships with external IT suppliers and service providers.
• We monitor and improve supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• We act as the primary escalation point for operational IT issues.
• We support disaster recovery, business continuity, and security initiatives.
• We oversee hardware, software, and infrastructure upgrades.
• We drive service improvements and operational efficiencies.
• We support key business systems and technology projects.
• We produce service and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.

We are a successful international healthcare business based in Hemel Hempstead, working in a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. This is a key role within a small, highly visible technology team, working closely with our Technology Director to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT services across the organisation. The role offers a blend of operational leadership and technical involvement, with around 60% focused on vendor and service management and 40% on hands‑on technical oversight.
