Window Cleaner (Dacorum Council)

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 7am-3pm

• Friday: 7am–1pm

Contract: Full-time Location: Dacorum Borough (various sites)

Dacorum Council is seeking a reliable and skilled Window Cleaner to join their Facilities team. You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across council buildings and designated sites, ensuring safe, streak‑free results using Reach & Wash systems and traditional methods where required.

• Carry out internal and external window cleaning across council properties.

• Operate Reach & Wash systems safely and effectively.

• Use traditional window cleaning methods when appropriate.

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed time frames.

• Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe ladder use and equipment checks.

• Drive council vehicles to and from sites as required.

• Maintain equipment and report any faults or issues promptly.

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and members of the public.

• Experience using Reach & Wash window cleaning systems.

• Full UK manual driving licence.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good time management and reliability.

• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

• Previous experience in commercial or local authority window cleaning.

• Knowledge of COSHH and safe working procedures.
