Groundcare Machinery Engineer

Our client, a reputable employer based in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, is seeking a skilled Ground scare Machinery Engineer to join their dedicated service team. • £15 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 39-hour working week
• No weekend working
• Overtime paid at x1.5, with plenty of overtime available

• Service and maintain ground care machinery, including professional mowing equipment, utility vehicles, and farming equipment, in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new machinery to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Diagnose and rectify faults across electrical, hydraulic, powertrain systems, and other components
• Use diagnostic software via a laptop (training provided) to assist with fault finding
• Record detailed work reports, including photographs and documentation
• Report machine defects and recommend additional services to enhance customer satisfaction
• Assist with workshop duties as required to ensure operational efficiency

• Background in ground care, agricultural, construction, or commercial vehicle service
• Keen eye for detail and a thorough, methodical approach to work
• IT literate, capable of operating diagnostic software
• Full driving licence
• Flexibility for hours including Saturday mornings on a rota and extended hours during peak periods
• Motivated team player with a proactive attitude
