Registered Manager Therapeutic Children's Home

Location: Bristol

Salary:
OTE £70,000 (based on a 40-hour week and performance)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 3-bed therapeutic children's home in Bristol, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and shape a high-quality, trauma-informed service, leading a dedicated team committed to achieving positive outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register with Ofsted and manage the day-to-day operation of the home.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing care team.
  • Deliver exceptional, child-centred, trauma-informed care.
  • Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and external professionals.
  • Drive the home towards GOOD or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
  • Manage staffing, budgets, rotas and overall service performance.
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Minimum 5 years' residential childcare experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience managing a children's residential home.
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH and complex trauma.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and Children's Homes legislation.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
