Through your 18 month contract, you will be immersed in the world of Digital Marketing. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving Marketing team, combined with a Level 4 apprenticeship — so you'll be doing real work that affects real revenue from early on, while gaining a recognised qualification. Level 4 is a step beyond an introductory apprenticeship. We're not expecting a finished digital marketer, but we are expecting someone who can already work independently, think commercially and take ownership of a task.
You might be coming from A-levels or a BTEC, from a Level 3 apprenticeship, from a related role elsewhere in the business, or changing career into digital. Some of what you will be doing Website and merchandising: building and publishing landing pages, owning our local listings across sites Customer experience and optimisation: help map the end to end customer journey including understanding drop outs and running testing AI: identify opportunities to apply AI to eCommerce tasks Reporting and analysis: weekly and monthly reports turning this into analysis to inform our next steps Campaigns: working on campaigns in our national calendar end to end including content creation SEO: on-page optimisation and content improvements Working with others handling internal requests To be successful, you'll have:
Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, AI optimisation, eCommerce and technology, to drive site personalisation Ability to work independently, self-manage and prioritise An entrepreneurial outlook and a strong desire to learn and develop Strong written English, with a good eye for spelling, grammar and detail Confidence with Excel or Google Sheets, and comfort working with numbers Curiosity about how customers behave and why, and the confidence to say what you think the data means A collaborative, hands-on approach — no task too small The organisation and self-motivation to balance study alongside a busy day job Level 3 qualifications (A-levels, BTEC, T-level or a completed Level 3 apprenticeship) or equivalent practical experience, plus GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
Desirable Requirements Any practical experience of building or editing a website, blog, online store or social channel, including personal or side projects Exposure to Google Analytics, a CMS, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or basic HTML Practical experience of using AI tools in a work or study context An interest in leisure, hospitality or retail What you'll get A fully funded Level 4 qualification, with structured training including AI modules Protected time for off-the-job learning A named mentor and regular one-to-one support Real ownership on live projects, in a business where online is the front door Salary is based on experience
