The role involves inspecting high-precision, complex components using both CMM and manual methods. You'll benefit from an excellent working environment, training and premium-rate overtime.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect mechanical parts and assemblies to ensure they meet drawing and quality requirements.

• Carry out manual inspection using gauges, micrometres and other precision measuring equipment.

• Complete and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

• Operate CMM equipment to confirm product conformity.

• Programme CMM routines where required (PC-DMIS preferred; training available).

• Work with Engineering and Production to resolve inspection findings and non-conformances.

The two positions:

• Senior/Experienced Mechanical Inspector: proven inspection background with confidence across manual inspection, FAIRs and CMM programming.

• Junior Mechanical Inspector: candidates with a solid foundation in mechanical inspection-possibly gained through machining, an apprenticeship or a shop-floor manufacturing background-...
