Audio Visual/Home Automation Business Development Manager

Location: South UK
Salary: 40,000 to 50,000 basic + uncapped commission 75,000 OTE
Car Allowance Full UK Driving Licence Required

The Opportunity
We are working with a growing Smart Home and AV integration business that is actively investing in building out its Smart Home and Home Automation offering. This is not a replacement role. This is a genuine opportunity to help shape and grow a sector of the business.

They deliver high end Residential Audio Visual solutions including Home Automation, Lighting control, Shading, Audio, and Cinema rooms, working closely with homeowners, architects, and interior designers. Technology training is provided. What they cannot train is attitude.

The Role
This role is about opening doors, building relationships, and converting opportunities. You will be meeting clients, attending warm leads, and proactively developing new relationships within the residential market.

You will be responsible for growing the Smart Home and Home Automation side of the business, identifying opportunities, nurturing them, and seeing them through to handover with the support of technical and delivery teams.

This is not a desk bound sales role and not a pure cold calling role either. You will be trusted to get out, meet people, and represent the business professionally.

What They Are Really Looking For
You do not need to come from Smart Home or AV, although it certainly helps. You do need to be keen about technology, comfortable talking to people, and hungry to succeed.

If you enjoy learning new technology, opening conversations, and building long term relationships, this role will suit you.
