Remuneration: £60,000 + possible guarantee of up to £10,000 Commission Year One

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Flooring & Interior Products will involve:

• Field sales role selling a full range of manufactured floor coverings / carpet tiles
• Promoting multi-loop and low level loop carpet tiles as well as some ranges of FRS (full repeatable scroll)
• 100% specification field sales role, targeting architects and interior designers (A&D), fit-out contractors and end users
• Historically strong into commercial office, education, universities, student accommodation etc.
• Working alongside two existing field sales professional covering London
• Inheriting a small project bank, you will be expected to invoice a relatively small amount of £500,000 in your first year
• Targeting to grow a sizable project bank of circa £3m‑£5m, with a view to closing these projects over the coming years
• Utilising ABI leads and in-house CRM database
• Project sizes from 500m2, typically £10,000 upwards project value

• Must have a proven track record of selling into the architects or interior designers (A&D) specification marketplace
• Ideally from the flooring/ carpet industry
• Open to interior products such as: wall coverings, fabric, ceiling, partitioning or furniture
• Contacts within architects and interior designers (A&D), fit-out contractors and end users may be beneficial
• Tactile sales background rather than technical, sold something aesthetically pleasing, ideally flooring related
• Team player with energy, passion and Enthusiasm
• Strong commercial and presentation skills
