Ton driver

Gi Group are looking for an experienced 7.5ton driver in Hemel Hempstead, this is multi-drop work for a well know local food company. This is a temp-perm role

7.5ton pay rate:

Monday to Friday 14.53

Up to 34,000 per year when permanent

7.5ton shift:

Monday to Friday

05:00 starts

7.5ton key Duties

Deliveries to the food service industry (bars, restaurants etc)

Up to 25 drops

Driver will need to load and unload vehicle, using tail-lift, pallet/pump truck

We need drivers with the below:

UK, in date, 7.5ton (C1E) licence with 1 year experience minimum

Current and valid CPC and Digi Tacho

No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, MS, CU, TT, DR or DD codes)

Must be willing and able to do manual handling (multi-drop deliveries)

Must adhere to food safety legislation requirements

Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Tactful and courteous

Take pride in their work

Ability to cope under pressure

Reliable and trustworthy

Good communication skills
