HGV Class 1 & Class 2 | Hemel Hempstead

HG are recruiting HGV Drivers to work with our client based in Hemel Hempstead on a long term/temp to perm basis. Start times will be from  with no Saturday night working.

• £17.40, up to £39.04 per hour (Pre Parity)
• £16.81, up to £48.80 per hour (Parity)

• £15.67 - £36.06 per hour (Pre Parity)
• £15.67 - £45.08 per hour (Parity)

You will be required to carry out a maximum of 3 deliveries of palletised goods in any one shift. You will be loading and unloading your vehicle using tail lift & either a manual or electric pump truck. Ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day to day basis.

• Maximum of 3 drops/collections per day for Class 1 or max. 12 for Class 2.
• Loading and unloading vehicle.

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 license – New Pass Welcome
• HGV licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude.
