Responsibilities Oversee and supervise LVNs and CNAsProvide direct nursing care by initiating and implementing treatment plans

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders

Prepare and manage IV therapy, draw blood, and administer injections

Monitor residents’ conditions using sound clinical judgment to ensure optimal care Admit and discharge residents as needed

Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to physicians and interdisciplinary team members

Maintain ongoing communication with residents’ families regarding care and condition updates
