Our ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one to two years of automotive technician experience. An unrestricted NYS driver's license and a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service.

Salary Expectations

$29- $35 plus incentives A Tech ($65,000----$120,000)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting based on experience, testing, and manufacturer standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on automobiles and light trucks
• Replace or top off fluids, filters, and maintenance-related parts as needed
• Accurately document repair findings, work performed, and parts used
• Recommend additional repairs as needed while managing customer expectations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with all shop safety, environmental, and procedural standards
• Participate in required training sessions, meetings, and development programs
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles while in service
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on automotive technician experience
• ASE certifications and/or OEM training (Honda or Acura Certified)
• Certification as a NY State Inspector is required
• B, A, or Master-level technician qualifications strongly preferred
• Broad mechanical and electrical knowledge across various vehicle systems
• Valid and unrestricted New York State driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Must be highly organized, reliable, and capable of following directions
• Must pass drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle record check
