Product Manager – Mar Tech Growth Role at Wpromote in Los Angeles
Career Trajectory: This role is positioned at a compelling intersection — it's explicitly framed as an entry point into Product for someone coming from a digital agency background. If you have 3+ years in paid media, SEO, or agency operations, this is a structured path to transition into a formal PM role at a well-regarded martech company.
Compensation vs. Market: The $110,000–$135,000 range is competitive for a mid-level Product Manager in the US, particularly in martech/SaaS. Senior PMs at comparable companies typically earn $140,000–$180,000+, so this positions the role at mid-level, with room to grow. If you're in a high cost-of-living city (NYC, LA), this is market-rate; in lower-cost markets, it's above average.
Skills You'll Build:
- AI/ML product thinking applied to marketing intelligence — a highly marketable, fast-growing skill set
- Agile squad leadership and cross-functional roadmap ownership
- Data-driven decision-making using tools like Big Query and product analytics
- Client-facing product representation (demos, sales enablement) — differentiates you from pure internal PMs
Green Flags: Wpromote is recognized as Ad Age and Glassdoor Best Place to Work, and Adweek's Fastest Growing Digital Agency — signals genuine momentum. Unlimited PTO and remote-first culture suggest a mature approach to employee autonomy.
Watch For: "Owning multiple applications" and leading a squad as a PM can mean high workload. Clarify squad size, number of concurrent projects, and how roadmap prioritization decisions are made to assess realistic scope.
The Role
We're looking for a Product Manager to join Wpromote 's Technology team and help shape Polaris IQ, our marketing intelligence platform that gives clients more intelligent investment decisions and actions to grow their brand and their bottom line, with solutions across brand health, audience, creative, media, and measurement.
You'll own multiple applications within Polaris IQ and lead the development & design group responsible for delivering the roadmap across those areas, building solutions that serve both Wpromote's marketing experts and our clients. Sitting at the intersection of digital marketing, client delivery, and technology, you'll work closely with our marketing services teams, clients, Engineering, Design, and other partners to understand how marketers work, identify opportunities, and turn them into clear product decisions and requirements.
The ideal candidate brings curiosity, strong judgment, and an innovative mindset to how technology, data, and AI can improve the way marketers work. You're comfortable navigating competing priorities, using research and data to make decisions, and independently moving work forward. You understand how a digital marketing agency operates and the work our teams do for clients. For someone with digital agency experience, this role could be a great opportunity to apply that knowledge while taking the next step into Product.
YouWill Be
- Owning multiple applications within Polaris IQ, leading the squad responsible for delivering your roadmap, and contributing to the broader Wpromote Product roadmap
- Conducting user research, analyzing market and product data, and developing clear use cases and recommendations to evaluate and prioritize opportunities
