Snif is hiring a full-time Retail Operations Manager in New York, New York, for a remote team with travel of approximately 10% to 20% as business needs require. The role reports to the VP of Operations and manages retail orders from purchase order through fulfillment, delivery, and invoicing. Snif's retail channels include Ulta, Ulta International, Amazon, and future distribution partners.

The position covers retailer order execution for a fine-fragrance company. The work includes purchase-order validation, inventory coordination, fulfillment-provider communication, electronic data interchange monitoring, invoicing, chargeback disputes, and launch readiness. Candidates need at least three years of relevant wholesale order management, retail operations, or customer operations experience in consumer products. Beauty, fragrance, personal care, or home-products experience is preferred.

The manager validates purchase orders against item data, pricing, quantities, inventory, and delivery requirements. Discrepancies move into resolution with the relevant internal teams and retail partners.

Order execution continues through fulfillment, delivery, and invoicing. The role coordinates with Procurement and Inventory on shortages, fulfillment priorities, and operational risks, then works with fulfillment providers on routing, labeling, shipping documents, pickup requirements, and delivery requirements.

Snif requires hands-on monitoring and troubleshooting of EDI transactions and retailer portals. The manager resolves missing or rejected documents and verifies that required information reaches the appropriate retail partner.

Retailer compliance also includes invoice reconciliation and chargeback work. The role prepares invoices, compares quantities, works with Finance on discrepancies and deductions, prepares chargeback disputes, tracks deadlines, and addresses recurring causes.

The manager leads order-execution readiness for retailer and item launches. This work includes data checks, test orders, workflow preparation, and handoffs with distribution partners before a launch moves into active order flow.
