Welder - Field Ground Division

This position will perform the functions of a skilled welder, working from structure plans to weld various parts.

• Measure, cut, and join appropriate metals to specifications.
• Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate.
• Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary.
• Test the strength of each joint during and after project completion.
• Identify hazards, defects and needs for adjustments to ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and keep work areas neat.
• The above list of duties is not exhaustive; other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned.

• Knowledge of MIG welding criteria per QA and passing our skills test.
• Operate grinders and torches.
• Excellent stamina, strength and dexterity.
• Good time‑management skills.
• Sound understanding of safety rules, regulations and safe job procedures.
• Must be able to assist in other areas as needed and follow all quality procedures.
