Gibbs Die Casting, manufacturer of precision die-cast aluminum, is seeking 3rd shift Tool and Die Technicians to join their team in the Henderson, KY area.

If you are a journeyman tool and die technician or have at least 2 years of industrial maintenance or 3 years of machining experience and are ready to take the next step in your career, Gibbs Die Casting wants to hear from you!

• Competitive Compensation: Team members can earn up to $66,500 or more annually, with hourly rates up to $29 to start depending on experience and certifications, plus a $1/hour shift premium. Overtime opportunities are also available.

• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition according to established Gibbs 7-S Guidelines.
• Performs routine maintenance on casting and trim dies in the tool room or on the production floor.
• Tears down dies for maintenance and refurbishment.
• Makes die repair card corrections to tooling and documents those corrections on the repair cards and other supporting documentation.
• Enters tasks in the electronic tool room database daily.
  
  Operates all tool room equipment safely and productively.
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine and grinder to machine parts and verifies conformance of machined parts to Quality required specifications.
• Uses stoning tools and other pneumatic or hydraulic tools to repair pins, cavities, dies, etc.
• Performs general welding for repairs and maintenance.
• Uses sandblasting equipment to clean cavities.
