Job Summary

The Load Out Operator uses heavy equipment for loading outbound trucks with finished product and is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

* Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials. Maintains raw material mixture at proper moisture content.

* Maintains contact with operator to ensure most efficient drying rate.

* Performs daily maintenance on loader before each shift.

* Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.

* Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.

* Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.

* Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.

* Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.

* All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age.

* High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.

* Minimum 1 year of experience in loader operations within a production environment.

* Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a rendering operation preferred.

* Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.

* Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.

* Ability to review & comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.

* Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
