• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, required cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door of the store for deliveries.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
• Hold store keys to open and close without store management as necessary.
• Assist and coach other team members with the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including scan errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
• Review order exceptions on order release day and assist in reverse logistics.
• Assist in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts across all departments.
• Assist with ensuring the Outdate program is followed.
• Handle basic department pricing and daily price changes, ensuring proper signage.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities including cash report, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment.
• Maintain clean and orderly store condition; request repairs.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement; maintain stock rotation.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assist at Pharmacy window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Perform bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
• Serve as liaison between management and non‑management team members when management is absent.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
