Overview

Field Service Technician, AgRev - Henderson. AGCO Corporation is hiring for the Field Service Technician, AgRev - Henderson role. This position is based in Henderson, KY and may be dispatched from a home or company shop location. The role will perform repairs to equipment at customer and company locations, install new equipment and component parts, and complete standard work assignments with minimal supervision.

• Operate and perform repairs to machinery and equipment at customer sites or the Company Shop, using appropriate tools and test equipment to complete work with quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a valid Driver's License in compliance with Company and DOT regulations; maintain legally required paperwork, including DOT logs.
• Use test equipment to analyze and locate problems; confer with customers or supervisors or make independent on-the-job decisions when necessary.
• Write service reports at the jobsite and keep accurate time on the job; submit timesheets promptly.
• Ensure the accuracy of work orders by charging parts and labor to the proper work order segment.
• Own and maintain sufficient hand tools to perform the job.
• Recommend ideas to improve department operating procedures or business practices and participate in continuous improvement of related activities and processes.

• Experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs to agriculture, construction, off-road or heavy equipment or other similar equipment.
• Experience using test equipment and tools to analyze, evaluate, locate and repair problems.
• Experience with computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs.

• May require overtime work or overnight travel to jobsites and be available to provide service to customers on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis.
