Financial Controller - Consultant

Base Pay Range

$50.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Randstad is seeking a Consultant to provide strategic oversight and hands‑on support with report preparation, account reconciliations, and the analysis of complex General Ledger (GL) transactions. The ideal candidate must be well‑versed in Excel and adept at navigating large datasets.

• Assist with the timely and accurate preparation of various financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Lead and execute complex general ledger (GL) account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and ensuring all transactions are appropriately supported and recorded.
• Provide support in the review of account balances and transactions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of the financial statements.
• Analyze and reconcile complex GL account transactions, resolving issues efficiently and documenting processes thoroughly.
• Efficiently navigate and manage large data sets to extract necessary information for reporting and analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; an MBA or Master's degree in Finance is preferred.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and Microsoft Excel skills, including expertise in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS function is required.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly integrate into a client's environment, adapt to existing systems, and work independently or collaboratively as needed.
