• Develop and disseminate HSEQ information, including safety alerts and toolbox topics.

• Maintain a training matrix and conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNAs) and training plans to ensure all workers are competent in performing their tasks effectively and safely.

• Conduct regular audits of HSEQ systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies and other legal requirements.
• Ensure timely statutory notification of reportable incidents to relevant authorities, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage Workers Compensation claims, including documentation and coordination with insurers, while planning and implementing strategies to reduce future claims.
• Oversee and update STEMS safety platform to effectively track and document safety‑related activities, including incident reporting, worker training and inductions, and action management.
