Role Description

Full-time Sales Manager position that can be remote or hybrid, with occasional travel to the Henderson, NV facility and key customer meetings as needed.
The Sales Manager will drive national growth across CPG and big-box retail accounts, developing and executing strategies that expand brand presence and increase revenue. This role requires a highly strategic and relationship-driven professional with deep experience in consumer packaged goods, major retail buyers, and national account management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand distribution in major retail and club channels
- Lead, train, and support a growing sales team focused on account expansion and retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers at major retailers (e.g., Costco, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, Sprouts)
- Oversee forecasting, category management, and promotional strategies
- Analyze market trends, category performance, and pricing dynamics
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to align on growth initiatives and production capacity
- Represent Avatar Natural Foods at trade shows, buyer meetings, and industry events
- Proven experience in Sales Management within the CPG industry
- Established relationships or prior experience with major retail and club buyers
- Strong understanding of category management, retail promotions, and distribution strategy
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and CRM tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional travel for business meetings
- Experience in food, beverage, or natural products is strongly preferred
