Job Summary /

Description:

FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, is looking for an experienced assignment desk professional. This position requires at least 3 years of assignment desk experience in a television newsroom.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated depth of experience in the following:

• Effective daily planning and deployment of all news department field resources
• Fast and effective response during breaking news situations
• Ability to conceive and put together coverage plans for major events
• Actively contribute to daily assignment discussions with quality enterprise and coverage ideas

• An ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as an assignment editor or assignment manager in a television newsroom.
