Job Summary/Description:

FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, is looking for an experienced assignment desk professional. This position requires at least 2 years of assignment desk experience in a television newsroom.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Effective daily planning and deployment of all news department field resources
- Fast and effective response during breaking news situations
- Ability to conceive and put together coverage plans for major events
- Actively contribute to daily assignment discussions with quality enterprise and coverage ideas

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as an assignment editor or assignment manager in a television newsroom.
- No beginners.
