About this role:As a Medical Oncology Physician – Telemedicine in Oncology at Intermountain Health in Southern Nevada you will work with a dedicated tight‑knit team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide remote oncology care through telemedicine platforms. You will deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to patients across diverse geographic regions, collaborate with onsite teams, and utilize secure digital tools to manage cancer diagnoses and treatment.
In the Nevada market, Intermountain Health offers the opportunity to provide care in a value‑based setting serving a large Medicare Advantage population. This position is supported by Medical Assistants, Oncology Nurse Navigators, Financial Navigators, and others as part of the care team to support patients during treatment. Work with established and experienced physicians and advanced practice providers.
- This position includes a $50,000 sign‑on bonus and $75,000 in student loan assistance, if applicable.
- Schedule Options: 4‑day clinical days, 1 administrative day, or traditional 5‑day schedule.
- Patient Load: 15 patients per day.
- Reasonable call schedule shared among group physicians, and you will provide in‑person care 4 weeks per year (in two 2‑week increments).
- Collaborate with virtual team members via Team Chat and participate in tumor boards.
- Intermountain Healthcare Oncology/Hematology provides patients with a range of cancer‑care therapies including medical oncology, clinical hematology, cancer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.
- An onsite oral pharmacy is embedded in each clinic with point‑of‑care testing available to support the necessary treatment decisions this provider will prescribe.

What you’ll bring:- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Residency training in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Oncology.
- Active, unobstructed Nevada and Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems and secure video‑conferencing tools.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
- Candidates requiring visa sponsorship accepted.
