Job Description
Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
Responsibilities of a Part Time Water/Wastewater Treatment Instructor include but are not limited to:
Lecture and Lab instruction for Water/Wastewater Treatment courses
Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
Provide advisement to students
Develop syllabi and course materials
Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
Required Qualifications:
5 Years of Water/Wastewater Treatment experience,
OR
Applied Science degree in Water/Wastewater Treatment from an accredited College/ University or equivalent degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/ University in Wastewater Treatment or equivalent
Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
Schedule
Water/Wastewater Treatment courses are generally taught at the Henderson Campus, in-person/ online and are scheduled during the day, and evenings.
$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
