E-Learning Specialist

Position Summary

As an E‑Learning Specialist I, you will support the development and implementation of digital training materials under supervision. You will help create and maintain basic e‑Learning content that supports both internal and customer‑facing teams, contributing to the company's overall training strategy.

• Assist with converting in‑person training into basic e‑Learning modules with direction.
• Help maintain the accuracy of training materials and content within the learning management system (LMS).
• Edit and format instructional documents, training videos, and slide decks.
• Support the Learning and Development team with training logistics, coordination, and tracking.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content for training material development.
• Learn and begin applying foundational instructional design principles in training materials.
• Participate in needs assessments and feedback collection under supervision.
• Support the tracking of participation and training data and contribute to reports on training metrics.
• Assist with updates to existing training to ensure accuracy and alignment with internal processes.
• Provide administrative support for scheduling and coordination of e‑Learning assignments.
• Contribute to team efforts in building a library of content.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all employees.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of the Learning and Development team goals.

• Build confidence in using e‑Learning development tools.
• Strengthen understanding of adult learning principles.
• Increase exposure to cross‑functional departments.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Trainer Certification from Association for Talent Development (ATD) preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years’ experience in training, instructional design, or e‑Learning development.
• Basic proficiency in an LMS (e.g., Seismic) and authoring tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow directions from leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with supervision.
• Desire to develop skills in e‑Learning development and training facilitation.
• Customer service‑oriented mindset and willingness to support others in a learning environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Interest in learning instructional design tools and adult learning principles.
• Experience in the supplement or nutraceutical industry is strongly preferred.

Duties are performed primarily in a smoke‑free office and manufacturing environment.
